Cookies and storage
No cookies, no tracking, and nothing that leaves your device. Here is exactly what is kept in your browser and why.
Cookies
None are set. The site has no analytics, advertising, social-media embeds or sign-in, which are the usual reasons for cookies, and the hosting does not add any.
What is stored
| Name | Where | What it holds | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
yh-a11y-prefs | Local storage | Your display settings: light or dark mode, theme, text size, motion and the other options in the display panel. Written only after you change a setting. | Until you restore the defaults or clear this site’s data |
yh-wisdom-last | Session storage | The number of the short line shown above the footer, so that a reload shows a different one. | Until you close the tab |
Why there is no banner
Consent banners exist for storage that is not strictly needed for something you asked for, such as analytics or advertising. Both items here exist only to do what you asked — remember the settings you chose, and vary a line of text — so no banner is shown. If that ever changes, a banner will appear before anything new is stored, and the privacy policy will say so.
Clearing it
Restore defaultsin the display settings removes your saved preferences. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes both items. Nothing else needs deleting, because nothing else is kept.
