Privacy

This page covers two separate things: how this website behaves, and where to find privacy information for each YahHeard app. They are different pieces of software and are documented separately.

This Website

The YahHeard website is a static site: pages are prepared in advance and served as files. It has no login system, no comment system and no form that submits data to YahHeard.

You request a pageYour browser asks Firebase Hosting for a page, sending the standard technical data every web request includes.
The page is servedFirebase Hosting returns prepared files. No YahHeard code identifies you, profiles you or tracks you across sites.
Nothing follows you homeNo analytics script runs, no tracking cookie is set, and nothing you read here is reported anywhere.

What This Site Does Not Collect

  • No names, emails or account details — there is nothing to sign up for.
  • No analytics events, page-view beacons or session recordings.
  • No advertising identifiers and no third-party ad networks.
  • No cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
  • No form submissions — the site has no data-collecting forms.

Firebase Hosting

The site is served by Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web host or content-delivery network, it processes standard technical request data — such as IP addresses and requested URLs — in order to deliver pages, balance load and protect the service from abuse. That processing happens at the infrastructure level and is governed by Google's Firebase privacy documentation. YahHeard does not add analytics on top of it.

Accessibility Preferences

If you adjust the site's accessibility options (theme, colour palette, text size, motion, reading width or font), those choices are saved in your browser's local storage under a single key so they survive between visits. They are preference values only — no identifier, no history, nothing personal — and they never leave your device. Clearing your browser data removes them, and the panel's "Reset All Preferences" button does the same thing. This is not advertising or tracking storage.

External Links

Links to external sites — most commonly Google Play — are marked with an arrow (↗) and open under those sites' own privacy policies. Google Play, in particular, is a Google service with its own account, payment and data practices that YahHeard does not control.

YahHeard Android Apps

Every app has its own privacy page describing — from repository evidence, in plain language — what it accesses, what stays on the device, what (if anything) is transmitted, and how to delete your data:

Your Data Rights

Because this website collects no personal data itself, there is usually nothing YahHeard could look up, correct or delete about your visit. For YahHeard apps, whose data lives on your own device, deletion is in your hands: each app's privacy page explains its specific retention and deletion behaviour. UK visitors can find general guidance about data-protection rights from the Information Commissioner's Office.

Contact

Privacy questions can be raised via the contact page.
