About these terms

These terms apply to the YahHeard website. The apps and games it describes carry their own terms, privacy information and notices where they are distributed. See also the privacy policy and business information.

Project pages are snapshots

Each project page describes the software as it was when the page was last updated: its status, features, versions and screenshots. Projects marked Active Development, Beta, Prototype or Experiment are unfinished. Features can change, be removed or never ship, and an unfinished project may never be released.

Screenshots show the software running; each gallery says where its images were captured. Artwork that is not a screenshot is labelled as artwork.

Downloads and availability

“Released” means a build is finished, not that it can be downloaded. A download or store link appears on a project page only when one genuinely exists. Nothing on this site is sold, and there are no in-site purchases or subscriptions.

Health, safety and entertainment

Some projects give general information — about a health condition, pet care or a festival, for example. That information is not medical, veterinary, legal or professional advice. In an emergency in the UK, call 999; for urgent medical help that is not an emergency, contact NHS 111.

Projects presented as entertainment — the spirit board and the paranormal toolkit among them — are entertainment. They do not detect or communicate with anything supernatural, and their output should never be relied on.

Using the content

The text, design, logo, screenshots and other material on this site belong to YahHeard unless marked otherwise. You are welcome to link to any page, quote short passages with a link back, and share screenshots when writing about a project. Please do not republish substantial parts of the site, or present its content as your own.

Photographs credited to someone else remain theirs and are used under the licence named in their credit; follow that licence if you reuse them.

Fair use of the site

Please do not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for weaknesses without permission, or use automated tools in a way that puts a load on the hosting. If you believe you have found a security problem, please report it through the contact page rather than testing it further.

Links to other sites

Links to other sites are provided for convenience. YahHeard does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Limits

Real care goes into keeping this site accurate, but it is provided as it is, and it may occasionally be out of date or unavailable. To the extent the law allows, YahHeard is not liable for losses arising from using the site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The date below shows when they last changed.
