Animal Vision

Camera frames are processed entirely on your device. Nothing you point the camera at is stored or transmitted unless you deliberately save a photo or clip.

Development status: Animal Vision is still in development and is not yet available on Google Play. This page describes, from the current source code, how the app is being designed to behave. It will be finalised as the formal privacy policy before any release, and updated if behaviour changes.

Information Transmitted Off the Device

Nothing. Animal Vision has no mechanism for uploading your data.

Sharing and Third-Party Services

No data is shared with third parties. The app contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.

Camera

Shows the live animal-vision view. Frames are processed on the device.

Microphone

Declared in the current development build for recording video clips with sound. Only used while you record.

Data Retention

Saved media stays on your device until you delete it. Preferences persist until you clear the app's data.

Data Deletion

Delete saved media from your gallery, or clear the app's storage in Android settings to remove everything.

Children and Age Considerations

Animal Vision is a general-audience app. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Where the app links to external websites or services, those destinations are clearly indicated and governed by their own privacy policies.

Changes to This Policy

If the app's behaviour changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Material changes for a released app will also be reflected in its Google Play listing.
