Convoy: Chain City
Beta
Convoy: Chain City is currently beta and not yet available on Google Play. Support opens fully at release — but feedback and questions are welcome now.
Getting started
Convoy: Chain City will be installable from Google Play at release; a store button will appear on its page here the moment the listing is real. The app is offline-first: its core features work without a connection. It supports Android 8.0 and newer.
- Seven offline modes: Endless City, Biggest Chain, Convoy Battle, Checkpoint Rush, Escape, Delivery and Daily City
- Seven follower classes with armour, nitro, weapons, magnets, repairs and heavy cargo
- Recover your scattered followers after a crash instead of simply losing the run
- Nine power-ups, including compress and spread formations
Permissions
Convoy asks only for what its features need, and works sensibly if you decline. To review or change grants: Android Settings → Apps → Convoy → Permissions.
- Vibration: Optional haptic feedback during play. It can be switched off in Settings, and it is the only permission the project requests.
Common problems
The app is misbehaving or running slowly
- Swipe the app away from Recents and reopen it.
- Check Google Play for an update.
- Clear the app's cache (Android Settings → Apps → Convoy → Storage → Clear cache) — this keeps your data.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
Local save data persists until you uninstall the game or clear its storage. Updates keep the same save format. Uninstalling the game removes its local data, as does clearing its storage in Android settings. Full details are on the Convoy privacy page.
Does it really work offline?
Yes — the core of Convoy is built to work with no signal at all. Anything that does use the network is listed on the privacy page, and none of it is required for everyday use.
Battery and performance tips
Convoyavoids background work beyond what its features need. If Android's battery optimisation interferes with reminders or timers, exempt the app in Android Settings → Battery → Battery optimisation.
Accessibility
- Directional-pad and left/right-zone control alternatives
- Left-handed button placement
- Casual, arcade and expert difficulty
- Reduced effects and camera-shake controls
- Adjustable text size and audio levels
Accessibility problems are treated as bugs — reports are very welcome.
