Embers plays entirely on your device. Your character and progress live in local storage, and the prototype declares no permissions.

Development status: Embers of the Forgotten Realm is still in development and is not yet available on Google Play. This page describes, from the current source code, how the app is being designed to behave. It will be finalised as the formal privacy policy before any release, and updated if behaviour changes.

Information the App Accesses

Embers does not access personal information, sensors, media or files.

  • Your character, attributes, gold and story progress

Information Transmitted Off the Device

Nothing. Embers has no mechanism for uploading your data.

Sharing and Third-Party Services

No data is shared with third parties. The app contains no advertising or tracking SDKs.

Embers requests no Android permissions at all.
