Embers of the Forgotten Realm
A text and click adventure, told one choice at a time.

About Embers
Embers of the Forgotten Realm is an early prototype exploring how much adventure fits into text and a well-placed click. Create a character, pick a class, and set out: the story unfolds through readable scenes and tabbed actions, with attribute bars, gold and combat encounters shaping what happens next. The current build is a browser-based prototype with an Android wrapper — a working experiment in interactive fiction whose engine and story are both still being written.
Key features
- Character creation with classes and attribute choices

The oldest genre, the simplest input
Interactive fiction ran on mainframes before phones existed. Embers asks what the genre feels like when every verb is a click — and whether one well-written scene can outweigh a gigabyte of textures.
Development status
Embers of the Forgotten Realm is roughly 15% of the way to its first public release. It will appear on Google Play when it's genuinely ready.
