Note Flow
Released
Having trouble with Note Flow, found a bug, or have an idea that would make it better? This is the right place.
Personal builds are unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning on installation.
Getting started
Install Note Flow from its Google Play listing. The app is offline-first: its core features work without a connection.
- Sections you create, rename, colour, duplicate and reorder by dragging
- Unlimited pastel note cards with pinning, duplication, moving and archiving
- Visual rich-text editing with spellcheck, inline local images, autosave, undo and redo
- Live partial search across one note, one section or everything, with highlighting
Common problems
The app is misbehaving or running slowly
- Swipe the app away from Recents and reopen it.
- Check Google Play for an update.
- Clear the app's cache (Android Settings → Apps → Note Flow → Storage → Clear cache) — this keeps your data.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
Everything persists in the application's user-data directory, which survives application updates, until you delete it. Delete notes in the app, or remove the application's user-data directory to clear everything. Full details are on the Note Flow privacy page.
Does it really work offline?
Yes — the core of Note Flow is built to work with no signal at all. Anything that does use the network is listed on the privacy page, and none of it is required for everyday use.
Battery and performance tips
Note Flowavoids background work beyond what its features need. If Android's battery optimisation interferes with reminders or timers, exempt the app in Android Settings → Battery → Battery optimisation.
Accessibility
- Light and dark modes
- Adjustable text sizing
- Reduced-motion option
- Keyboard navigation with tooltips
- Resizable panes
Accessibility problems are treated as bugs — reports are very welcome.
