What Dog Atlas is
Dog Atlas brings the atlas treatment to dogs: a browsable breed directory, rich per-breed detail pages, a matcher quiz that weighs your space, schedule and experience against each breed's real needs, side-by-side comparison and a saved list for shortlisting. Like its siblings, it is offline-first — the catalogue is bundled with the app so a signal-free park bench is a perfectly good place to research your next companion.

Getting Dog Atlas
Dog Atlas 1.0 is finished and feature-complete, targeting Android 8.0 and newer. There is no store listing yet, so there is no download button here — one will appear by itself the moment a real link exists. This site never publishes a placeholder download.

How it is put together
- A seeded Room database carries 61 breed entries and 529 credited photograph records.
- Every bundled photograph stores its own credit and licence fields, so attribution travels with the image.
- Care tools — feeding, cost, exercise and growth — are pure functions over the breed record, testable without the UI.
