Profiles are educational. The app flags venomous, restricted and invasive species, excludes them from beginner recommendations, and never provides instructions for acquiring or casually keeping dangerous animals.

About Exotic Atlas

Exotic Pet Atlas opens the terrarium world with its feet firmly on the ground. Species profiles cover reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and other exotic companions with genuinely useful care detail — enclosure sizes, heating, humidity, diet, handling tolerance. Its welfare-first design distinguishes display-only animals from handleable ones, flags venomous, restricted and invasive species, and keeps dangerous animals out of beginner recommendations entirely. A matcher quiz and habitat planner help the right keeper meet the right animal.

Key features

  • Species profiles across reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates
  • Welfare-first flags: display-only, venomous, restricted, invasive

Some animals are for watching, and the app says so

Exotic Pet Atlas is deliberately opinionated about welfare: handling tolerance, enclosure minimums and legal restrictions are first-class data, not footnotes.

Development status

Exotic Pet Atlas is roughly 55% of the way to its first public release. It will appear on Google Play when it's genuinely ready.
