Orbit: Last Signal
Hold for gravity. Release to keep what you earned.
A portrait orbital arcade game: hold to fall toward a world, release to keep the momentum, and slingshot your way to the Helios Array.

What Orbit is
Orbit: Last Signal is a portrait arcade game built around one physical idea. Holding anywhere pulls your ship toward the highlighted celestial body; releasing keeps whatever momentum that fall gave you. Close orbital passes charge your weapons and boost, so flying tight is both the risk and the reward. A Journey run crosses five systems before the Helios Array finale, where generators can only be damaged above a certain speed — which makes the whole game's momentum economy into the boss fight. Endless continues with bounded difficulty combinations, and Daily Galaxy seeds itself deterministically from the current UTC date, so everyone gets the same run without any server being involved. Scores and progression are local. The build is verified at two phone aspect ratios with rendered evidence captured for each.
What it does
- One-input gravity flight: hold to be pulled in, release to keep your momentum
- Close orbital passes charge weapons and boost, so flying tight is the reward
- A five-system Journey ending at the Helios Array
- Endless mode with bounded difficulty combinations
- Daily Galaxy seeded deterministically from the UTC date — no server involved
- Verified at two phone aspect ratios with captured evidence
Momentum is the currency
Nothing in Orbit is free. Speed comes from falling toward something you might hit, weapons charge from passing close, and the finale can only be damaged once you are travelling fast enough to be in trouble. The whole game asks the same question at different scales: how close are you prepared to get?
Three ways to play
All three are implemented and playable in the current build.
Journey
Five systems and the Helios Array: destroy four generators, then attack the exposed core above the star.
Endless
Continues past the Journey with bounded difficulty combinations rather than unlimited scaling.
Daily Galaxy
Uses the current UTC date as a deterministic seed — the same run for everyone, with no server.
Precision
Collect all five rings before the gate while conserving gravity energy.
Getting Orbit
Orbit: Last Signal is still in development and is not distributed yet. It is roughly 70% of the way to a first public release.

How it is put together
- Flight is a gravity-attraction model: holding pulls the ship toward a body, releasing keeps the momentum you earned.
- Daily Galaxy seeds itself from the current UTC date, so every player gets the same run without a server.
- Two phone aspect ratios are verified separately, with rendered evidence captured for each.
