Active Development
Tandem is currently active development and not yet available on Google Play. Support opens fully at release — but feedback and questions are welcome now.
Getting started
Tandem will be installable from Google Play at release; a store button will appear on its page here the moment the listing is real. The app is offline-first: its core features work without a connection.
- Projects and sub-projects as the organising model for every list, search and creation
- An Office you arrange yourself, with saved layouts kept separate from content so a reset cannot lose work
- Collaborative rich documents built on Tiptap and Yjs
- Whiteboards with pages, templates, frames, auto-layouts and PNG/SVG export
Common problems
The app is misbehaving or running slowly
- Swipe the app away from Recents and reopen it.
- Check Google Play for an update.
- Clear the app's cache (Android Settings → Apps → Tandem → Storage → Clear cache) — this keeps your data.
Where is my data, and how do I delete it?
Records persist in the browser's storage for that origin until they are deleted, or the browser's site data is cleared. Delete records in the app, empty the recycle bin, or clear the site's browser storage to remove everything for that origin. Full details are on the Tandem privacy page.
Does it really work offline?
Yes — the core of Tandem is built to work with no signal at all. Anything that does use the network is listed on the privacy page, and none of it is required for everyday use.
Battery and performance tips
Tandemavoids background work beyond what its features need. If Android's battery optimisation interferes with reminders or timers, exempt the app in Android Settings → Battery → Battery optimisation.

- Motion, density and focus-mode preferences
- Keyboard shortcuts with a shortcut reference (Ctrl + /)
- A command palette reachable with Ctrl + K
- Tab and Shift + Tab step through objects on a whiteboard page
Accessibility problems are treated as bugs — reports are very welcome.
