What DegenPet is

DegenPet is a virtual pet in the old tradition, with humour aimed at adults. Your pet is a small, handmade-looking flatmate who is determined to make an extraordinary mess of an ordinary life. You feed them emergency toast, put them to bed and wash away their questionable choices, while the flat itself — fridge, sofa, lamp, bin, window and poster — is full of things to tap. Eight quick activities, from toast timing to a warehouse delivery shift, earn money for clothing and crafted furniture; there are neighbours to meet (including a pigeon), decision events, daily goals, achievements and five evolution paths, plus a secret reward for sustained sensible living. Your pet rests while you are away, and progress never disappears through neglect. There is no account, advertising, purchase or analytics, notifications are optional, and saves are protected with integrity checks and backup recovery.

  • Game-session logic for each activity is separated from its presentation, so the rules are testable on their own.
